Product Description
TI-500E weighing indicator overview
The TI-500E is an NTEP and Canadian certified digital weighing indicator housed in a durable black ABS NEMA 12 enclosure. It features a large, easy-to-read 0.6" 6-digit LED display and is capable of driving up to four 350Ω load cells. Full front panel calibration means setup requires no PC or external tools. All TI-500E calibration is performed directly from the keypad, and parameters are stored in non-volatile memory for long-term retention. A full-duplex RS-232 port enables data transmission on demand or continuously to printers, remote displays, and computers. Setup and calibration parameters are shared across the entire TI series indicator family, making the TI-500E a straightforward, trouble-free choice for commercial and industrial weighing applications. Installation and wiring
The TI-500E ships with a 15 ft homerun cable and AC adapter (12 VDC). It connects directly to any standard analog load cell or junction box with a mV/V output. The indicator supports up to four 350Ω load cells in parallel. For multi-cell installations, a load cell summing junction box should be used to balance and combine signals before connecting to the indicator. Compatible applications
The TI-500E is suitable for bench scales, floor scales, tank and hopper weighing systems, platform scales, and any application requiring a reliable, cost-effective NTEP-certified indicator. It pairs directly with Transcell S-type, S-beam, shear beam, and single-point load cells. |
Add-on options
The TI-500E Plus variant supports optional add-ons including analog output (0–5 VDC / 4–20 mA), RS-485, Bluetooth, and time/date stamping.
