TI-500 SL weighing indicator overview
The TI-500 SL is a rugged, industrial NTEP and Canadian certified digital weighing indicator housed in a stainless steel NEMA 4X/IP65 enclosure. It is one of the only indicators in the TI series to also carry OIML certification, making it suitable for international legal-for-trade applications. The TI-500 SL features a large 0.9" backlit LCD display and is configured with an internal 6-volt 3 Ah rechargeable lead acid battery — with an AC adapter included for continuous power operation and recharging. Auto shutoff extends battery life during idle periods. A selectable 10/80 Hz conversion rate, full front panel calibration, and shared TI series setup parameters make the TI-500 SL a capable and consistent choice for demanding industrial and international weighing environments. Installation and wiring
The TI-500 SL uses a Quick Disconnect cable connection and operates on its internal rechargeable battery or 12 VDC AC adapter. It connects directly to any standard analog load cell or junction box with a mV/V output and supports up to four 350Ω load cells in parallel. For multi-cell installations, a load cell summing junction box should be used to balance and combine signals before connecting to the indicator. Compatible applications
The TI-500 SL is well suited for food processing, pharmaceutical, chemical, and international industrial weighing environments. Its OIML certification makes it appropriate for export applications and international legal-for-trade use. It pairs with Transcell S-type, S-beam, shear beam, and single-point load cells. |
