Product Description

TI-700K waterproof weighing indicator overview

The TI-700K is an NTEP and Canadian certified IP69K waterproof weighing indicator built for demanding outdoor and industrial environments. Its polycarbonate front and waterproof ABS rear enclosure withstand high-pressure wash-down, dust, and moisture. This standard LCD version features a large 1.0" 7-digit multi-color LCD with a green backlight, optimized for readability in bright outdoor lighting and direct sunlight conditions. A capacitive touch keypad, ARM microprocessor, and selectable 10 Hz to 960 Hz A/D conversion rate give the TI-700K performance well beyond basic weighing indicators. It drives up to eight 350Ω load cells, supports wireless operation via the optional TI-500RFTM module, and handles Peak, Totalizing, Hold, Checkweigher, Piece Counting, and Live Weight applications. The standard LCD version features a green backlit display designed for excellent readability in bright outdoor lighting and direct sunlight. Ideal for outdoor scales, agricultural weighing, and any application where the indicator is exposed to natural light.

IP69K wash-down rated enclosure
The sealed polycarbonate and ABS enclosure is rated IP69K — the highest standard for waterproofing — protecting against high-pressure, high-temperature wash-down in food processing, outdoor, and industrial environments.

Drives up to eight 350Ω load cells
Capable of powering up to eight 350Ω load cells simultaneously — double the capacity of most basic indicators — making the TI-700K suitable for large platform scales, floor scales, and multi-cell industrial weighing systems.

Capacitive touch keypad with 6-color backlight
Features a sealed capacitive touch keypad with a user-selectable backlight color from 6 available options. Tare weight and APW are stored in non-volatile memory, and a programmable print format supports custom ticket output.

Multi-function application modes
Supports Peak Hold, Totalizing (Accumulation), Checkweigher, Piece Counting, Animal Weighing, Remote Display, and Live Weight modes. Self-diagnostics, RF signal strength meter, and battery capacity meter are also built in.

Wireless capability and rich add-on options
Compatible with the optional TI-500RFTM wireless weighing module for cable-free operation. Add-on options include a 2nd RS-232, RS-485, Bluetooth, 0-10V output, 4-20 mA, Wi-Fi, and a rechargeable Li-Ion battery for 85+ hours of portable use.

Technical notes

Installation and connectivity

The TI-700K ships with a 15 ft homerun cable and operates on 100-240 VAC (50/60 Hz) standard power, or optionally on 5-15 VDC. It connects to any standard mV/V load cell or junction box. Standard communications include one full-duplex RS-232C port and one USB port. A USB driver download is required for USB connectivity — see the USB Driver section below.

Compatible applications

The TI-700K is well suited for floor scales, platform scales, truck scales, outdoor weighing stations, agricultural weighing, food processing, and any industrial application requiring an IP69K waterproof indicator with advanced functionality. It pairs with Transcell S-type, shear beam, and single-point load cells.
