FDI-02 bidirectional force measurement indicator overview
The FDI-02 is a high-performance bidirectional force measurement indicator designed for precision force testing and measurement applications. Unlike general-purpose weighing indicators, the FDI-02 is built specifically for force measurement, offering independent calibration curves for tension and compression loading modes, up to 7 calibration points per loading mode, and a sampling rate of 2 to 1,200 Hz with over 1,000,000 internal counts of resolution per mV/V. Peak and valley capture modes make it well suited for impact testing, tensile testing, and dynamic force measurement. The FDI-02 is available in a standard aluminum/ABS enclosure (IP64) and the FDI-02-SS in a stainless steel NEMA 4x/IP65 enclosure for wash-down and harsh environment applications. Technical notes
The FDI-02 connects to any standard mV/V load cell via its 14-pin load cell cable. A full-duplex RS-232C serial port supports data output to computers and printers for data logging and test reporting. The FDI-02 runs on 4 AA batteries (not included) or the included AC adapter. The FDI-02-SS variant includes an embedded 100-hour rechargeable battery with charger.
