Product Description

The TCM325 miniature threaded in line load cell with 3/8in-24 male threads for tension and compression force measurements.

Applications / Typical Use Cases

  • Robotics force feedback
  • Linear actuators
  • Medical devices
  • Small industrial machines
  • Load chains

Installation & Mounting Guide

  • Thread directly into load chain using integrated threads for both tension and compression measurements
  • Plug connection wires into a Transcell digital indicator, the mV/V input of a PLC or motion controller, or use a signal conditioner to generate a high level signal (10V or 4-20mA)

FAQs

Q1: How does a threaded in-line load cell work?
A1: A threaded in-line load cell is situated directly within a load cell and is mounted using its integrated threads. It can measure in both tension and compression.

Q2: How is the 3/8in-24 version different from the M10x1.5?
A2: The two designs have equal measurement performance. Just pick the thread type that is most convenient for your application or fixturing.

Q3: What industries use miniature in-line load cells?
A3: Industries include robotics, aerospace, automotive, medical testing, and industrial automation. The in-line load cell is a strong candidate in any application with space constraints, particularly if bidirectional force measurement is required.
