TI-700K waterproof weighing indicator (Reverse LCD) overview

The TI-700K Reverse LCD is an NTEP and Canadian certified IP69K waterproof weighing indicator sharing the same proven platform as the standard TI-700K, but fitted with a reverse LCD display where the backlight is black and the digit segments are illuminated in your choice of color. This display style provides exceptional contrast and readability in indoor, low-light, and controlled-lighting environments such as warehouses, processing facilities, and laboratories. All other specifications are identical to the standard model: polycarbonate and waterproof ABS enclosure, capacitive touch keypad, ARM microprocessor, 10 Hz to 960 Hz selectable A/D conversion, and support for up to eight 350Ω load cells. Reverse LCD — optimized for indoor use
The reverse LCD display uses a black backlight with illuminated color segments, delivering superior contrast and reduced eye fatigue in warehouse, laboratory, and facility environments. Segment color is user-selectable from 6 available options.

IP69K wash-down rated enclosure
The sealed polycarbonate and ABS enclosure is rated IP69K, protecting against high-pressure, high-temperature wash-down in food processing, pharmaceutical, and industrial facility environments where sanitation is critical.

Drives up to eight 350Ω load cells
Powers up to eight 350Ω load cells simultaneously, making the TI-700K suitable for large platform scales, multi-cell floor scales, and industrial weighing systems that exceed the 4-cell limit of basic indicators.

Capacitive touch keypad
Sealed capacitive touch keypad with no physical gaps or crevices to harbor contaminants. Tare weight and APW are stored in non-volatile memory, and a programmable print format supports custom ticket output with a 6-digit ID number.

Multi-function application modes
Supports Peak Hold, Totalizing (Accumulation), Checkweigher, Piece Counting, Animal Weighing, Remote Display, and Live Weight modes. Self-diagnostics, RF signal strength meter, and battery capacity meter are all built in.

Wireless capability and rich add-on options
Compatible with the optional TI-500RFTM wireless weighing module. Add-on options include a 2nd RS-232, RS-485, Bluetooth, 0-10V output, 4-20 mA, Wi-Fi, and a rechargeable Li-Ion battery providing 85+ hours of portable operation.

Technical notes

Installation and connectivity

The TI-700K ships with a 15 ft homerun cable and operates on 100-240 VAC (50/60 Hz), or optionally on 5-15 VDC. It connects to any standard mV/V load cell or junction box. Standard communications include one full-duplex RS-232C port and one USB port. A USB driver download is required for USB connectivity — see the USB Driver section below.

Compatible applications

The TI-700K Reverse LCD is well suited for indoor warehouses, food processing and pharmaceutical facilities, laboratories, and controlled production environments. It pairs with Transcell S-type, shear beam, and single-point load cells.
