TI-500 RF-SS wireless stainless steel indicator overview

The TI-500 RF-SS is an NTEP certified wireless-capable digital weighing indicator housed in a stainless steel NEMA 4X enclosure. It combines the rugged corrosion resistance of a stainless steel housing with the flexibility of wireless operation via an optional TI-500RFTM Bluetooth weighing module, making it one of the most versatile indicators in the TI series. It drives up to eight 350Ω load cells, features a 0.8" 6-digit backlit LCD display, and runs on an internal 6-volt 3 Ah rechargeable lead acid battery with over 115 hours of continuous operation per charge. The selectable 10/80 Hz conversion rate, 10,000 certified divisions, multipoint linearization calibration, and a broad add-on ecosystem round out a highly capable package suited for industrial, food processing, and portable wireless weighing applications. Stainless steel NEMA 4X enclosure
Housed in a stainless steel NEMA 4X enclosure with a stainless steel swivel stand, the TI-500 RF-SS withstands wash-down, corrosion, and harsh industrial environments where standard aluminum or ABS indicators are not appropriate.

115+ hour rechargeable battery
Powered by an internal 6-volt 3 Ah rechargeable lead acid battery providing over 115 hours of continuous operation per charge. Supports completely cable-free, portable weighing when paired with the optional TI-500RFTM wireless module.

Wireless capability via Bluetooth
Compatible with the optional TI-500RFTM wireless weighing module for fully cable-free scale operation. Optional Bluetooth Class I module also enables wireless data transmission directly to computers, printers, and mobile devices up to 100 meters unobstructed.

Drives up to eight 350Ω load cells
Powers up to eight 350Ω load cells simultaneously — twice the capacity of most basic indicators — making it suitable for large platform scales, multi-cell floor scales, and heavy industrial weighing systems requiring stainless steel construction.

Multipoint linearization calibration
Supports multipoint calibration with linearization for improved accuracy across the full measurement range. The selectable 10/80 Hz conversion rate allows tuning for stable static weighing or faster dynamic applications.

Advanced application modes
Supports Remote Display, Peak Hold, Checkweighing, Accumulation, Piece Counting, and Self-diagnostics modes. Time/date stamping and programmable print formats are also included for traceability and reporting.

Technical notes

Installation and connectivity

The TI-500 RF-SS uses a Quick Disconnect cable connection and operates on its internal 6V rechargeable battery or 4-14 VDC external power. It connects to any standard mV/V load cell or junction box and supports up to eight 350Ω load cells. Standard communications include a full-duplex RS-232C port, with Bluetooth, WLAN, RS-485, and analog output available as add-ons.

The TI-500 RF-SS is well suited for food processing, pharmaceutical, outdoor, and portable industrial weighing applications requiring stainless steel durability and wireless flexibility. It pairs with Transcell S-type, shear beam, and single-point load cells, and integrates with the TI-500RFTM wireless module for fully cable-free operation.
