TI-500 weighing indicator overview
The TI-500 is an NTEP and Canadian certified digital weighing indicator offering the largest display in the basic TI series — a 0.9" 6-digit backlit LCD that is easy to read in a wide range of lighting conditions. Housed in an ABS and steel NEMA 12 enclosure with a stainless steel swivel stand, the TI-500 is capable of driving up to four 350Ω load cells. Its most distinctive feature is flexible power: it runs on AA alkaline or rechargeable batteries for approximately 40 hours of continuous use, or on a standard AC adapter, making it the most portable and versatile option in the basic TI series. Auto shutoff extends battery life in low-activity environments. Full front panel calibration and shared TI series setup parameters keep installation and maintenance straightforward. Technical notes
The TI-500 ships with a 15 ft homerun cable. Power is supplied via AC adapter (6 VDC, 300 mA) or AA batteries. It connects directly to any standard analog load cell or junction box with a mV/V output and supports up to four 350Ω load cells in parallel. For multi-cell installations, a load cell summing junction box should be used to balance and combine signals before connecting to the indicator.
