A1 Series Chatillon CS load cell overview
The A1 Series are plug-and-play replacement load cells for the Chatillon CS and CS2Plus Advanced Force Testing Machines, designed as direct drop-in upgrades for the Chatillon CLC series. Each A1 load cell connects to the machine's existing wiring without modification, restoring full test functionality immediately. The A1 Series improves on the original CLC design with more responsive electronics, improved measurement performance, and more generous safe overload protection across all capacity models. Capacities range from ±2 lbf to ±1,000 lbf, all using a common M12x1.75 mounting thread. Each unit ships in a protective carrying case with an anti-static foam interior that guards against both electrical and mechanical shock, and includes the required connector and a 15.8 mm (5/8 in) eye-end adapter.

Installation
The A1 Series connects to the Chatillon CS or CS2Plus machine via the included connector with no wiring modification required. The eye-end adapter attaches to the load cell's threaded connection and links to the machine's load train. Select the A1 model matching your existing CLC load cell capacity. For the best measurement accuracy, calibrate the A1 load cell to the specific machine it will be used with after installation. |
